Gracie (the local barmaid) finds twin boys left in the cellar of the
Transelvation Arms
during a local whiskerino contest. The inn is competing against fierce rival the
Weavers Arms, run by publican Brunn-Weise. Bar Keep and Gracie lose the contest but vow to
win the upcoming interpub cricket match in two weeks time. The twins have been
abandoned at the command of Brunn-Weise in order to throw off the Transelvationers'
training routine. Looking after the twins causes Bar Keep and Gracie countless
nightmares as they try to keep them out of the drip trays.
Brunn-Weise and Elizabeth Royale sabotage the cricket team and ensure that the
Transelvation Arms are two players short. Gracie's cousin William Wynne steps in to
help out, but still one down Bar Keep agrees to play from behind the bar. The
climatic cricket match takes place in the beer garden, with star player Gracie scoring the
majority of the runs. It is Bar Keep however who finally wins the match when he
brings out a cup of tea for Old Tom and catches the ball in the cup.
Bar Keep: "What we going to call these here babes?"
Gracie: "Hows about Pork and Scratchins?"
