Rober's Folly was Whiskerino Productions ill judged spy thriller.  Attempting to cash in on a glut of spy novels a hastily written and poorly cast production was started in the spring of 1960.

Secret agent Calvin Rober is attempting to release captured British ambassador when he discovers that the man is not being held.  The ambassador - Francios Kleinman is actually the evil genius behind a series of international bullion robberies.   Kleinman is using the money to create a giant refrigerator capable of freezing the entire country.

Rober teams up with Kleinman's daughter Elas to try and stop the madman.   Rober manages to infiltrate Kleinman's volcano base with the help of the local scuba divers (many of whom bear a remarkable resemblance to the regulars at the Transelvation Arms).  Kleinman's henchman defends the control room whilst Elas tries to stop her father.  The fight scene between Rober and Arms (so called because he has a third arm) culminates in Rober spraying him with molten lava from an overhead pipe.   Meantime Elsa has rewired Kleinman's refrigeration units.

Rober arrives just in time for the start of Kleinman's countdown to total refrigeration of the Western world.  The switch is thrown and Rober shoots Kleinman dead.  Elsa has rewired the system to make the volcano erupt so that the equipment can never be used again.  Unfortunately the system has been rigged so that someone has to hold the switch down in order for every thing to be destroyed.  Elsa has to hold it down whilst Rober makes good his escape.

Elsa: "Someone has to hold down the switch to make sure this whole contraption is destroyed."
Rober: "I understand."
Elsa: "I think it should be me."
Rober: "Fair enough."
