Set in the ski resorts of the Alps (filmed on location in Scotland) love blooms in
a cold climate. Ski instructor Julie Denver is said to have a heart of stone having
been jilted many years ago by her fiancée. Local romeo Albie Yehmen tries to
romance her by signing up for ski lessons disguised as an Italian cyclist, but he
fails. He declares that she has no heart at all.
At times it would appear so, until Yehmen and Denver get trapped in a cable car.
At first they bicker, but after a day or two they realise that they must escape.
Yehmen lets off his flares and Denver climbs on top of the car. They both
manage to climb down, but remain stuck at the top of the mountain in the middle of a
blizzard.
The pair are forced to spend the night together in a makeshift igloo. This
produces an amusing scene when Yehmen has get changed into his pyjamas outside. Over
the course of the night, and the following week they spend up the mountain Denver and
Yehmen fall in love. They are eventually rescued by the local priest (played by
Charles F. Reed in a brief cameo) who is out walking his dog. He arranges to marry
them the next day.
Yehmen: "You haven't got a heart."
Denver: "I have, it's just that its snowing in my heart."
