A plague of undead zombies come to the tiny Transelvation village in this chiller.

Whilst digging in his garden Toothless Pete unearths an ancient cursed medallion.   Thinking nothing of it he puts the amulet around his neck and continues digging.   The next morning Pete is found to have passed away peacefully in his bed.  He is buried but days later rumours of his reappearance fly round the Transelvation Arms.   The Old Hag and the others dismiss the rumours and leave at closing time to walk across the deserted village bowling green.  As they snake across the grass, the last member of the party Cook the gardener is attacked by a shadowy figure.

The next day Cook is found dead - the flesh literally sucked from her bones.   A wild dog is suspected and a hunt is set up that night.  Brandishing flame torches the villagers go wandering off into the night.  Seven of the hunting party fail to return to the Transelvation Arms, and no one seems to notice Toothless Pete who accompanies one of the parties back to the inn.  It is not until the jukebox breaks down that the Transelvationers can hear the sound of Pete's fingers falling onto the floor as he gently rots by the salad bar.

Zombies wait outside the doors and windows.  Panic reigns for a time as no one can leave the inn and Pete has blocked the path to the toilet.  Bar Keep's disinfectant seems to have little effect so Kipper Figgis drinks it instead.  More locals become zombies and all looks lost until the Old Hag swipes Toothless Pete's amulet and replaces it with a cruxifix.  The spell is broken and the zombies remain dead.   The Transelvationers set about burying the hoards of rotting corpses.

Brown Hat: "There's a lot of dead bodies floating around that graveyard."

Kipper Figgis: "There's zombies at the door."
Old Tom: "Well don't open it then."

Burgomaster: "Zombies innit."
