After a brief card game Dr F ushers the players from his rooftop laboratory.   He has won quite a considerable amount of money, including £5 from his cousin.   The impoverished relative leaves promising to fetch the money from his secret hoard in the morning.   Unfortunately as he leaves he slips on the wet steps and falls to his death, landing in Egor's threshing machine.  Dr F can only save his cousin's head.  All seems lost and he will have to forego the £5 when he decides to reanimate his cousin.   Egor is quickly dispatched to find some body parts whilst Dr F puts the head on ice.

Egor returns hours later empty handed.  Desperate Dr F even contemplates placing an advert in the Transelvation Bugle (late edition).  Forced to find a supply of body parts, Egor sets about digging up newly deads whilst Dr F brews up a batch of poison to sell at the Transelvation jumble sale.

Egor's specimens turn out to be a little rotten, but real success comes at the cake stall when six men keel over after a mouthful of battenburg.  Soon Dr F (using precision tools) has stitched together a hideous creature.  The pair manage to bring it to life and the creature runs off into the night - Egor having forgotten to strap it down.

The creature goes on the rampage terrorising the Transelvationers and stealing laundry from their washing lines.  Dr F and Egor travel through the village at night disguised as trees trying to track the monster down.  Whilst in the library they spot him transfixed by a local beauty's yodelling.  He approaches her, sitting nearby as she sings.  A crowd of Transelvationers gathers round the creature and by the time Dr F has fought his way through the throng (and fought off the attentions of Old Tom's dog) the locals have the creature bound up.  They tie him to a handy tree and roll him off the cliff into the water.  The creature drifts out to sea, never to be seen again.

Dr F returns to his laboratory disheartened.  Two days later a water logged Egor finally makes his way back.

Egor: "Dr F, what about the rats?"
Dr F: "Never minds the rats Egor - we will have dinner later."
